Terms of use

Terms

Working terms for an informational civic-policy publication, including proposal status, no professional advice, source links, reuse, availability, and future organizational information.

Informational civic publication

The Next Square Deal publishes historical, policy, legal-status, and institutional analysis for public education and discussion. It is not a government agency, campaign, political party committee, legal service, financial adviser, medical provider, or benefits administrator.

Proposals are not existing rights or benefits

Unless explicitly labeled otherwise, the ten guarantees are proposed public commitments. Nothing on the site establishes eligibility for a program, creates a legal entitlement, changes a contract, or represents that a constitutional right already exists.

No professional advice

General explanations are not legal, medical, financial, tax, benefits, or other professional advice. Law, programs, deadlines, and institutional practices change. People making consequential decisions should consult the relevant official source or a qualified professional.

Evidence and accuracy

The project aims to cite factual claims, show source limitations, and correct material errors. Working-draft content remains open to revision. Verification of source metadata does not mean endorsement of every source conclusion, and linking to a source does not transfer responsibility for its content to this project.

External links

External sites control their own content, availability, security, accessibility, and privacy practices. An external link is supplied for reference and is not an endorsement, partnership, or guarantee that the page will remain unchanged.

Build Your Deal and sharing

The prioritization tool is informational. A shared URL exposes the priorities and optional title encoded within it. Users should not include sensitive personal information in the title. The project does not promise that a removed or renamed guarantee will restore forever.

Newsletter

Signup is available only when a provider is configured. Submitting a form does not mean subscription succeeded unless the response confirms that a provider accepted the request. Consent may be withdrawn through the unsubscribe method supplied by the future provider.

Reuse and attribution

Original site code and editorial material require a repository license before broad reuse terms can be stated. Public-domain source documents and third-party materials retain their own status. Do not assume that an old document, archival image, logo, or linked work is free of rights restrictions.

Availability and changes

The project may correct, revise, reorganize, or remove working material. Stable slugs and redirects are preferred, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Material editorial changes should be recorded according to the editorial standards.

Organization and affiliation

No verified legal entity, nonprofit or tax status, address, staff, board, donors, partners, or institutional endorsements have been supplied. No such status or affiliation is claimed.

Working terms last reviewed August 12, 2026. Formal legal review has not been claimed.
